I’m really excited to be a part of the relatively new JLAP project as I think it’ll help to enhance my understanding of other jurisdictions whilst also allowing me to help those who need free legal advice. It is easy to take for granted how accessible lawyer our in the UK compared to other countries such as Kenya. Through this project we can empower the more vulnerable communities by educating them about their rights and hopefully improving justice.
