I was drawn to JLAP as it provides hands-on legal aid to the most vulnerable communities in society. Not only does it inform people about their rights and how to fully benefit from them, it is also an opportunity to interact with the local community. I am privileged to be able to learn from the experienced students and lawyers on how best to serve the local community as well as our partnered University in Kenya.
