I joined JLAP because I believe that being in a privileged position comes with a degree of responsibility. Having had a comfortable childhood I have never really experienced poverty or financial struggle. It is for this reason that I would like to give back for the position I have been put in. I believe the best way of doing this is through legal action, as it pushes forth a legal agenda and then change can occur from such legal influence.
